The following three tests of the DUMKA algorithm are presented in the paper: a comparison with the analytical solution of a model problem, a comparison of CPU-time cost with the VS2D program for a model of groundwater flow in a confined aquifer (the linear problem), and a comparison of CPU-time cost with the VS2D program for a nonlinear model of groundwater flow in an unconfined aquifer with consideration of an unsaturated zone (the nonlinear problem).
