The TECONV program complex to automate transformations of large collections of text files was developed at the Research Computing Center of Moscow State University in the framework of the project devoted to the creation and maintenance of the Numerical Analysis Library. The formulation of the problem, the architecture of the system, and its scope are considered. Some applications of the system to compress JavaScript data and to automate the generation of C-manual for the Numerical Analysis Library on the basis of its Fortran-manual are discussed.
